POTTA ASHRAM

The Vincentian Congregation is a clerical society of Syro-Malabar Archiepiscopal Church of Pontifical Right with its Generalate at Edappally in the Archdiocese of Ernakulam-Angamaly. It was founded on 20 November at 1904 at Thottakom by Fr.Varkey Kattarath, based on the Common Rules of St.Vincent De Paul. Popular Mission

Popular Mission is Vincentian Congregation’s specific form of preaching the Word of God. Following the example of St.Vincent, the Vincentians give great stress on preaching Popular Missions and on teaching Catechism to the people adopting diverse methods suited to the times and places. Read more

Residential Service

We have the facility to accommodate 350 participants. We have a well furnished retreat hall with 400 seating capacity. People sleep in shared bedrooms with 7 to 10 beds in each room. Few self-contained single rooms are also available for those seek more privacy and silence. Read more

Daily Prayer Service

Potta Ashram is the only place where there is Holy Mass, Confession, Preaching the Word of God, Healing Adoration, Spiritual Counselling throughout the whole year, literally 365 days. The Potta Ashram has the largest intercessory Prayer group consisting of 1200 members. Read more
